White Soul is an improved form of species Alpine Strawberry; White Soul reaches only about 15cm in height and yields small white to cream-coloured, aromatic fruit over a very long season. It does not spread with runners. The blooms are ongoing all season long, so the strawberries can be enjoyed from spring until frost each year. They have a distinctive taste, being very sweet with a hint of pineapple. They are excellent for eating fresh right out of your hand or for using in jams. Birds are said to not eat the white strawberries like they are known to eat the red varieties.
