Biennial to 50cm (usually grown as an annual). Early maturing compact variety producing small round dense heads to 15cm in diameter and up to 1.6kg in weight. Cabbage heads are deep red to purple in colour and leaves are tender with a sweet flavour. Fast growing, early maturing variety with long shelf-life. Good cooked or raw in salads. Slow bolting and resistant to splitting.
